Terms
Terms for using Storneva.
1. Scope and acceptance
These terms of use govern access to and use of storneva.info, published by Storneva Health (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2018/198736/07, VAT registration number 4603456789, of 88 Commissioner Street, Johannesburg CBD, 2001 Johannesburg. They apply to every page on the site, including the homepage, the three StorneVis formula pages, and the about, methodology and contact pages. By visiting storneva.info, you agree to use the site lawfully, respectfully, and in accordance with these terms.
These terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Disclaimer, each linked from the footer of every page. Where a conflict arises between this document and one of those other documents on a subject they both address, the more specific document, such as the Privacy Policy on a data protection question, takes precedence on that specific subject.
2. Editorial purpose of the site
Storneva publishes general background reading about nutrition, food supplements, and everyday eye wellness habits for adults in South Africa. Content is prepared by an internal editorial team with reference to publicly available nutrition science and ingredient declarations, and is not personalised guidance directed at any individual reader. Nothing on this site should be treated as a substitute for a conversation with an appropriately qualified professional where a personal question arises.
The site does not operate as a retailer. Formula pages describe declared ingredients, forms and stated amounts for editorial reference only, and do not include pricing, order forms or checkout functionality of any kind. Readers who wish to purchase a formula described on this site should refer to the appropriate distributor channel rather than to storneva.info directly.
3. Accuracy of information collected and published
Data collected through this site is limited to what is described in the Privacy Policy, principally information submitted voluntarily through the contact form and routine technical logging generated by ordinary use of a website. We work carefully to keep published content accurate and current, cross-referencing ingredient tables against publicly available labelling information where practical, but we cannot promise that every page reflects the most recent version of a physical product label at every moment. Readers should check current packaging and other authoritative sources before relying on a specific figure for a personal decision.
If you notice information on this site that appears outdated or incorrect, you are encouraged to report it using the process described in section 6, and we will review the report as part of our ordinary editorial correction process.
4. Legal basis for operating this site and processing enquiries
We operate storneva.info and process enquiries submitted through it on the basis of our legitimate interest in running an informative, transparent website, and, where a visitor submits a message, on the basis of taking steps requested by that visitor, namely providing a reply. Where a visitor opts in to receive editorial updates, that processing is based on consent, which can be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Full detail on legal bases is set out in the Privacy Policy.
5. Retention of records relevant to these terms
Correspondence sent through the contact form is retained for twenty-four months after the enquiry is closed, consistent with the Privacy Policy, and correction requests raised under section 3 are retained for the same period to support any later review. Records of acceptance of these terms, where a specific acceptance mechanism is used on a form, are retained for thirty-six months. Website server logs generated through ordinary use are retained for ninety days on a rolling basis.
6. Correction requests, complaints and response times
To report an inaccuracy, request a correction, or raise a complaint about these terms or about the site generally, email [email protected] or write to 88 Commissioner Street, Johannesburg CBD, 2001 Johannesburg, describing the specific page and the specific concern. We aim to acknowledge a report within five business days and to provide a substantive response, or complete a straightforward factual correction, within thirty days. If a matter concerns personal information specifically, you may also refer it to the Information Regulator of South Africa, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party processors named in connection with the site
Operating storneva.info involves a small number of third-party service providers, including a hosting provider that stores the site's files and processes request logs, an email delivery service that routes messages submitted through the contact form, and, where enabled, a privacy-conscious analytics provider used to understand aggregate readership. These providers act under instructions from Storneva and are not authorised to use site data for their own independent purposes. Full detail is provided in the Privacy Policy.
8. Cookies referenced in these terms
Use of the site involves a small number of cookies, summarised here and described fully in the Cookie Policy: a session cookie that expires when the browser closes, a preference cookie named storneva_cookie_choice that lasts up to twelve months, and, where enabled, an aggregate analytics cookie that lasts up to thirteen months. Continued use of the site after accepting the cookie banner constitutes acceptance of the cookie practices described in that policy, and a visitor may withdraw that acceptance at any time through the "Cookie Settings" link.
9. International transfers relevant to use of the site
Some of the service providers described in section 7 may process technical or correspondence data on servers located outside South Africa. Where this occurs, Storneva relies on an appropriate safeguard recognised for cross-border transfer, such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism, consistent with the approach described in the Privacy Policy, and reviews these arrangements periodically.
10. Intellectual property
Text, branding, layout and original imagery published on storneva.info belong to Storneva Health (Pty) Ltd or its licensors, unless a specific page states otherwise. You may read, print or share a page for personal, non-commercial reference, but copying a substantial section of an article, republishing an image, or reproducing the site's layout for a commercial purpose requires prior written permission, which can be requested by emailing [email protected].
11. External links
Some pages link to external sources for context, such as a regulator's website or a piece of published nutrition science. These links are supplied for reference only, and Storneva is not responsible for the availability, accuracy or privacy practices of an external site once you leave storneva.info. Visiting a linked site is at your own discretion and subject to that site's own terms.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to attempt to disrupt the operation of storneva.info, not to bypass or attempt to bypass any access control or security measure, not to submit unlawful, defamatory or infringing material through the contact form, and not to use the contact form for unsolicited commercial messaging directed at Storneva or extracted from Storneva's published content. We reserve the right to disregard or block correspondence that breaches this section.
13. Availability of the site and limitation of liability
We may change, pause or remove a page for editorial, technical, legal or regulatory reasons, and we will try to keep any important notice about such a change clear and visible. To the extent permitted by South African law, Storneva is not liable for a decision made solely on the basis of general reading published on this site, and nothing in these terms excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Where a limitation in this document would otherwise be unlawful under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, that limitation is read down to the extent required, and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
14. Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. We review these terms at least once a year and may update them sooner if our editorial practices, service providers or applicable law change in a way that affects this description. The "last updated" date at the foot of this page reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of storneva.info after a revised version is published means the revised version applies to your use of the site from that date.
Revision log. 20 January 2026 — clarified that formula pages carry no pricing or checkout functionality. 15 May 2026 — added the acceptable use section describing prohibited conduct on the contact form. 22 June 2026 — added the international transfers section and aligned retention periods with the Privacy Policy.
